Home Services
Websites and search for home services
When someone's air conditioning fails in August, they are not browsing. They search, they glance at three results, and they call whichever one looks like it will pick up. That decision takes seconds, and almost all of it happens before anyone reads a word about your company.
How this buyer actually decides
Urgency first, proof second. They want a phone number that works on a phone, a service area that clearly includes them, and enough reviews to believe you will actually show up. Price barely enters it at the emergency end.
Where the job gets lost
- The phone number is not tappable, so a customer standing in a flooded kitchen has to copy it out
- No service area on the page, so people two towns over cannot tell whether you cover them
- Google Business Profile is unclaimed or half filled, which is where most emergency searches actually land
- Reviews sit on one platform and nowhere else, so the search result looks thinner than the business is
What we put in place
- A site that loads fast on a phone on bad signal, because that is the real condition it gets used in
- Tap-to-call everywhere, with the service area stated plainly
- A completed Google Business Profile, which for this trade usually outearns the website itself
- The emergency and replacement searches worked deliberately, not the brand searches you already win

What we usually recommend here
The Presence package
For home services the profile work matters more than anywhere else, because the Google listing is usually the first and last thing an emergency caller sees.
